The Slaoui tagine is a handmade and painted Moroccan earthenware tagine. The cone-shaped lid allows evaporated moisture to drip back onto your ingredients, keeping juices and aromas inside the pot. You can prepare fish, meat, vegetables, and fruit in it, allowing the herbs time to release their full flavor.

How to use

• Before first use, submerge the base and lid in water for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight
• Dry the tagine thoroughly and coat the inside and outside with (olive) oil
• Heat the tagine gradually, as earthenware cannot withstand temperature shocks
• Wash by hand with warm water, a little dish soap, and a non-metallic brush, and let it dry completely

Because each tagine is handmade and painted, the design may vary slightly from the photo and there may be minor imperfections.
