Khadijah, the Mother of the Believers

Khadijah, the life story of the first wife of the best creation who ever lived: The biography of Umm al-Mu'minin Khadijah is one that is unparalleled. It is the story of a woman who was honored with one of the most important positions in the history of Islam. She was the first woman to become Muslim and the first—and during her lifetime, the only—wife of the Prophet (p.b.u.h.), during one of the most difficult phases of the Prophethood.

The Prophet (p.b.u.h.) said: "She believed in me when the people did not believe in me. She declared me truthful when the people denied me. She comforted me with her wealth when the people withheld it from me. And Allaah provided me with children through her while He did not grant me children by other women." (Musnad Ahmad)

Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, with her strong faith, high moral character, and effective insight, was a role model for every Muslim woman and a beacon of light for the Ummah. She is the Mother of the Believers, and her unique life story is a source of wise lessons for all her children.
