Learning to pray (for boys)

Prayer is an important pillar in Islam. Therefore, it is good to start a child with it early, as our Prophet (peace be upon him) taught us.

Prayer brings a person closer to Allah and provides peace and contentment to the individual. Prayer has been made obligatory by Allah, and a child should begin praying from the age of 7.

This booklet supports this process by preparing a young child for their first prayer in a fun and playful way. The booklet is designed to be educational, using fun pictures and short texts to provide a clear, step-by-step guide to teaching the child how to perform prayer. It helps the caregiver teach the child how to pray and allows them to choose the pace that best suits the child. This booklet is also ideal for converts.

Every good deed one teaches to another will be beneficial for both. A parent who teaches their child to pray will ensure the child receives the reward for every prayer performed in their life, and the person who taught them the prayer will also receive a reward for every prayer. Without anything being deducted from the reward of the other!
