Ghassoul or Rhassoul is a natural mineral clay from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco and is used by Moroccan women for their hair and body care.
This ghassoul is 100% natural clay and is mixed with various plants, including rose petals, lavender, a henna mixture, lichens, and pomegranate bark.
Ghassoul removes all impurities from the skin and enriches it with nourishing minerals. This results in soft and elastic skin. Ghassoul is antiseptic and absorbs waste products from the skin. It has a natural exfoliating effect, which removes dead skin cells and cleanses the skin thoroughly. The unique properties of Ghassoul ensure that it binds excess skin oil and dirt particles. These are then easily rinsed away with water. Over time, you will not need to wash your skin with Ghassoul as often, because the gentle cleansing does not stimulate the skin to produce excessive oil.
