History of the Prophets

The stories of the prophets (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon them all) are sources of light and guidance for all people. 'The Stories of the Prophets' is known for its comprehensiveness and originality. The purpose of this book is not only to provide the biographical details of the prophets (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon them), but essentially to provide a clear picture of their strength and struggle in bearing the burden of spreading the message of Allah. It also draws attention to the harsh denial and opposition they faced from their own communities, and the associated severe punishments and insults inflicted upon those communities. Allah sent His prophets as bearers of good tidings and as warners to their people. The prophets, in turn, told the people the laws that Allah had revealed to them and invited them to worship Him alone, and some people accepted it while others rejected it.
