About this product
Ka’b b. Malik Al-Ansari says that the Prophet (pbuh) said:
“Two hungry wolves let loose among a flock of sheep do no more damage (to those sheep) than the pursuit of fame and wealth does to a person’s faith.”
(Ahmad, S. At-Tirmidhi, Ibn Hibban)
In this narration, the Prophet (pbuh) demonstrates that craving money and fame (in this life) causes harm to a Muslim’s experience of faith. He therefore points to the great danger of the love of money and fame.
