Concentration in prayer

Humble concentration in prayer consists of the heart being present before Allah, out of love, fear, and hope, and that the greatness and majesty of the Creator are ignited in the heart. Thus, the body will be humble, focused, calm, and serene, and the senses will be humble and focused through the invocation or remembrance of Allah (dhikr) and deep reflection. The soul will then ascend to the highest grades of faith until it reaches the degree of perfection (ihsaan), to enjoy a special divine presence and a spirituality that gives the prayer an incomparable taste and provides an indescribable inner ecstasy…
