Ghassoul has been used for centuries throughout North Africa. Ghassoul is volcanic clay mined in the Atlas Mountains (Morocco). Ghassoul is natural, suitable for hair, skin, and body cleansing, and is a grooming essential that should not be missed. It is also used in the hammam (bathhouse), among other places.

Ghassoul comes from Berber and literally translates to: "to wash".
