About this product
This bowl comes from Tamegroute, a small village in the south of Morocco. The green glazed earthenware is handcrafted there using age-old techniques by only seven families, each with their own kiln and workshop.
Features
- Handmade Moroccan pottery from Tamegroute
- Green glaze, colored with manganese, silicon, and a small amount of copper
- Bubbles, scratches, color variations in the green, and small spots in the glaze are part of its character
- No two bowls are exactly the same
Frequently asked questions
Why are there three small marks on the bowl?
The kilns in Tamegroute are not large, so the pieces are stacked on top of each other using spacers at three points. As a result, almost every Tamegroute product has this characteristic scar.
Why does the bowl look different from the photo?
Every piece is handmade and glazed, so the color and glaze vary per bowl.
