”(…) Generation after generation was destroyed by wars, because a man sought salvation through his tribe, even if he were in the wrong, and for similar unimportant reasons and trivial motives. Upon this, Islam came to wipe away all these evil, overt practices in their lives; rights were divided equally, and their slogan would henceforth be Islam. Islam ensured that a person would only be better than another due to a stronger fear of God and obedience to Allah; an Arab is not better than a non-Arab, a non-Arab is not better than an Arab, a red-skinned person is not better than a black-skinned person, and a black-skinned person is not better than a red-skinned person, solely through a stronger fear of God…”
