Candle holder pink silver rim

Beautiful Lotus candle holder made of Capiz shell in the colors pink → light pink with a silver edge. The Lotus is the symbol of moving from darkness to light, from ignorance to knowledge. Dimensions: 13.5 cm. About Capiz shells: These are made from the outer layer of a marine mollusk, whose scientific name is placuna placenta, also known as the windowpane oyster. Capiz shells from the Philippines are named as such because they were originally harvested from the shallow coastal waters near the city of Capiz, on the island of Panay. Once cleaned, these shells are naturally translucent, and when painted, they produce a particularly beautiful play of colors when a light is placed inside.
