What to look for in a steamer pot?
- Number of parts: a 3-piece steamer pot consists of a stockpot, a steamer insert, and a lid. With a 4- or 5-piece steamer pot, you have more steaming layers, allowing you to steam potatoes, vegetables, and fish at the same time, for example.
- Diameter: Ø 18 cm is enough for one or two people; Ø 20 to 24 cm is suitable for a family. If you are cooking for more people, choose a 26 cm (4.6 litre) or 28 cm (6 litre) steamer set from Klausberg, or the 8-litre Royal Swiss steamer pot.
