Which water kettle suits you?
- Electric or whistling kettle: an electric water kettle sits on a base with a plug. You place a whistling kettle on the stove; it whistles when the water boils. Many Klausberg and Kinghoff whistling kettles are suitable for all heat sources, including induction.
- With thermometer: the retro Klausberg water kettles feature a thermometer, so you can see how hot the water is. Useful if you do not want to brew tea with boiling water.
- Capacity: a compact 1-litre water kettle for one or two cups, 1.7 or 1.8 litres for the whole family, and whistling kettles from 1.2 to 3.4 litres. For a large amount of water at once, choose a 3-litre whistling kettle or larger.

Removing limescale
With hard water, limescale will build up in your water kettle or whistling kettle over time. Descale it occasionally with a descaling agent or with vinegar and water, and rinse well a few times afterwards. Follow the manufacturer's instructions. Pour out residual water after use to keep your water kettle clean for longer.
